Text Box: New for the 2011 Season We have added the following new elements to our AAU package to go along with free time and winter team workouts. Free Individual Hitting and Pitching Lessons All Warrior players will receive 10 free individual hitting or pitching lessons (5 in the fall and 5 in the winter) from Ed Riley, Chip Plante or Mike Mocerino. Warriors Fall Instructional League All Warrior players will have the opportunity to participate in the Warriors Fall Instructional League, held at St Peter-Marian HS. The league is for Warrior players only and will consist of organized scrimmages run by Ed Riley, Chip Plante, Mike Mocerino and the Warriors coaching staff. The league will focus on teaching the fundamentals of all aspects of the game by instructing players during the various situations that arise over the course of the scrimmages. Games will be played on Saturdays beginning in September as weather allows. Pre-Season Training Clinic The Warriors pre-season training clinic will be held in December and is designed to introduce first-year Warriors to the drills we focus on during the team winter workouts. Strength and Conditioning For 30 minutes of the 2 hour team workouts there will be a Strength and Conditioning Coach who will work with the kids on different areas of strength and speed.

Winter Team Workouts Each Warrior team receives a 2-hour workout each week, from the beginning or January through the end of March. Chip Plante will be working with all of the hitters and Mike Mocerino will be helping with infield and outfield play. See Winter Team Workout Schedule

Winter AAU Free Time All Warrior players are encouraged to take advantage of RBI’s dedicated AAU Area to come in and work out free of charge. The area is AAU-dedicated seven days a week, and is open to all members of the Warrior Baseball Club any time there is not a scheduled Warrior team workout. See Winter AAU Free Time Schedule

2011 Fee Structure (all fees include winter workouts, free cage time, uniform package, 25-30 game schedule plus 1 to 2 tournaments, and 10 pitching or hitting lessons with Ed, Chip, or Mike.)

*9U, *10U - $1500

11U, 12U, 13U, 14U - $1800

15U, 16U - $1500

*Note : 9U and 10U will play 20-25 games schedules.

2011 Warrior Tryout Dates

Dates - Sundays - Sep 12, Sep 19, Sep 26 **All September tryouts will be held at RBI - not at SPM!**

Times - All Ages - 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Roster Updates - There are still roster spots open for each age group. Specific details regarding roster openings will be posted in this section prior to the Sep 12 tryout date. Riley Baseball Instruction is proud to be the official winter home of the Warrior Baseball Club, an Amateur Athletic Union baseball organization based in Central Massachusetts. The Warriors currently field 10 teams ranging from 11U to 15U, including a 14U team participating in the New England Super Division.
